If you’ve spent any time browsing clothes on the internet, you’ve probably come across them. Sites, usually based in China, selling beautiful clothes for great prices. You order, and wait 6-8 weeks to receive your new clothes. You rip open the package….only to realize that nothing is actually what it was advertised as. Also, are some of these clothes for dolls?
When someone I know posted in a group I run asking about Cupshe swimsuits, I was intrigued. The suits were super cute, and you couldn’t beat the prices. However, reviews for the site were mixed, and the site has some weird mistranslations that raised my suspicion.
Still, when my dream bathing suit was selling for $16, I decided to take the plunge. The caveat? I ordered through Amazon, and I used a credit card. This gave me peace of mind that if anything did go wrong, either Amazon or my credit card company could get it resolved for me.
After reading the reviews, I decided to size up when ordering. This turned out to be a good decision, because the large I ordered actually fit somewhere between a small and a medium in other brands I’m used to.
The bathing suit is decent quality– I was surprised that the white doesn’t get more see through when wet! I can’t see using this for five or six seasons, but it will definitely survive one or two. The pattern and cut are both on trend, so I don’t regret the $16 I paid for it. Plus, I’ve gotten tons of compliments!
Although I’m not sure that I would order directly from CupShe’s website given the number of bad reviews, I would definitely order another CupShe bathing suit from Amazon! (After all, you can’t beat two day shipping!) I actually have my eye on another CupShe bathing suit, because I like to have a back up, especially for beach vacations.
Have you ever bought from CupShe before? What did you think?
