This weekend, I posted a clue on Facebook about some exciting things happening at A Southern Celiac. No one guessed what was coming soon, possibly because I intentionally kept it cryptic. Today is the day I am breaking the silence.
I started thinking about it a while ago. See, I love coffee shops. Even when I didn’t drink coffee, there was nothing like sitting in the back corner of a busy coffee shop, chatting with your friends. Some of my best conversations and my best inspirations have come from coffee talk.
It took a while to figure out how I was going to translate this into a blog series, but after much deliberation and planning, I’m pleased to announce Chronic Coffee Chat.
Chronic Coffee Chat will be featured every Friday. This series aims to be an informal Q&A style interview with other chronic illness bloggers and advocates. There’s been a lot of interest in the series so far, and I’ve got some exciting interviews for you all to look forward to in the coming months.
I’ll also be using and following the hashtag #chroniccoffeechat on both Twitter and Instagram. Every Friday, I will post a photo on Instagram and Twitter with a question for people with chronic illness. You can comment on the picture I post, or respond by posting your own photo or tweet and using the hashtag #chroniccoffeechat .
You can also use this hashtag to reach me if you have questions or comments you’d like answered about the weekly posts, or you can just use it to start some coffee shop talk of your own!
I hope that through this series and hashtag, bloggers, advocates, and anyone else with chronic illness can connect and get to know each other better. If you would like to be featured or have any questions or comments, please visit my About The Blogger/Contact Me page and reach out to me.
I hope to see you this Friday for the first interview!
